We’re Larissa and Michael Smith — the husband-and-wife team behind Green Creek Christmas Tree Farm, where holiday traditions come to life under twinkling lights and the scent of fresh evergreens.
Our story began in 2019, when we stumbled upon this beautiful property at an auction. It was love at first sight — rolling fields, tall pines, and a touch of Christmas magic. What truly sealed the deal was discovering the legacy of Harold McMillan, the farm’s original founder. For over 30 years, Harold poured his heart into growing the perfect Christmas trees and creating a place where families could celebrate together.
When we first purchased the property, reopening it as a Christmas tree farm wasn’t even on our radar. But after the tenth neighbor stopped by asking if we’d be open for the holidays, we decided to take a leap of faith — and we’ve never looked back!
As people of faith and lovers of the Christmas season, it brings us endless joy to continue a tradition that means so much to our community.
